A smart prediction feature lets it recommend emojis as well, and this tends to work impressively well in our experience.

As mentioned in the opener, Emoji Keyboard is no slouch in the actual keyboard department. Smart suggestion works with text as well, and it can auto-correct you as you type. It supports gestures as well as floating previews that are dynamic. It comes with dictionaries for more than 30 languages, and you can create custom dictionaries so that you can add words and slang.

This app has extensive settings that let you personalize how the keyboard functions but also how it looks. The aesthetic design uses a standard gray-black background by default, but you can opt for a theme instead. A number of themes are included, but you can choose your own image as well.

Emoji Keyboard also features a one-handed mode, which is becoming more prevalent with Android keyboards. As our screens get larger, one-handed typing becomes more challenging. With one-handed mode—which you can activate or deactivate with a single tap—everything is shifted to one side. That sides defaults to the right, but if you’re left-handed, you change it to the left.
